Please check your SPAM folders for voting instructions. TAF/TP is working to promote you and your company. This is a dynamic board. Give them a vote.

President - Buddy Cernosek - Buddy has been serving on the past board as the VP of Dallas. He took over presidential duties when the interim President, Donna Birdsong moved. He is a long time TAF/TP member and has been beneficial in seeing the organization through the tough legal issues of the past 2 years.

Vice President Dallas - Raine Devries: - I appreciate your vote of confidence and look forward to working with the other board members in the role of Dallas Vice President

Raine Devries is a producer based in Dallas and has worked on a myriad of projects that have aired in the U.S., European, and South American markets. She served 3-terms as Dallas City Producer for 48 Hour Film Project, multi-year terms on the Advisory Board for the USA Film Festival, and the Board of Directors for Women In Film.Dallas as Publicity Chair.  Additionally, Raine remains well connected to the local community by writing her column covering the Dallas Film Industry on Examiner.com.

When not immersed in the film production world, Raine can usually be found on the Dallas arts / culture and motorcycle scenes.  She writes a national column covering Harley-Davidson and is an internationally known personality representing female riders who has been featured in magazines, books, and television shows.

Her other community involvement has included multi-year terms on the Board of Directors for Alliance Française de Dallas and the El Centro College Internet Publishing Program Advisory Board.  She is a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and provides countless volunteer hours for the annual Snowball Express.

Vice President Austin - Lisa Barnes: Lisa works in the Austin Market as a make up artist and wardrobe stylist. She built the TAF/TP Face Book page and is responsible for many of the job postings that appear there. She has served as the Austin VP for 2 terms and has been instrumental in the decisions the current board has made to enable TAF/TP to continue. It was Lisa’s idea to give TAF/TP a presence on Face Book which has been invaluable in spreading the word about the new website and in announcing our events. Lisa is a person who does what she says she is going to do when she says she is going to do it!

Vice President Rio Grand Valley- Rodrigo Rodriquez: Rodrigo owns Rio Bravo Films and has been the TAF/TP VP in the Valley for the past several years. He was adamant about keeping TAF/TP alive and his vote to build a new website has helped TAF/TP come back to where you see it today. Rodrigo constantly reaches out to the Rio Grand Valley community to promote film and TV production in the Valley.

Secretary - Misti Fields: Misti is a graduate of UNT and the founder of Violet Snarl Productions, LLC. She is a filmmaker at heart, making short films, music videos and features. She has worked in many departments including producing and directing.  Misti is currently employed by Post Asylum and is still making her film projects in her off hours. She has served as a secretary for other organizations during her tenure as a student at UNT. She is the youngest board member to date, but don’t let that fool you. She is a small bundle of dynamite! Her efforts have already produced 3 new members to the TAF/TP website.

Treasurer - Libby Mitchell: Libby Mitchell has been working in the entertainment field since 2000 and as a writer since 1990.  She has worked in feature and short film production, commercials, training programs, consulting, as well as heading up one of the largest networking groups for independent film in the Dallas area from 2004 – 2011.

Most of her work has been around production management – budget, script scheduling, script breakdown and analysis, as well as producing and directing feature films and shorts.

In 2012, she moved into the consulting field and teaching so newcomers to the industry would have a resource in which to help them reach their goals and dreams in film making.

LEGAL CHAIR - Charles McGarry: Charles has served in this position many times. He is an entertainment attorney and has been instrumental in negotiating past leases for TAF/TP. Currently, he was one of the many soon to be board members who helped work the TAF/TP booth at the Texas Production Round Up. Charles rewrote the TAF/TP bylaws in 2004. He will be a key player in reviewing those bylaws and updating them during this term.

ACTIVITIES CHAIR - Laura Swank: I have been working in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and a proud member of TAFTP for almost as long. I was the Activities Chair for the 2004-2005 board and enjoyed working with the wonderful All Industry Holiday Party that was as the Stoneleigh Hotel.  I would like to see this position be more active by attending our sister organizations events and using Facebook to help promote our organization and to bring in more members. Besides the All Industry Holiday Party I would like to get input from members on what other type of events they would be interested in. Especially ones that could bring us more exposure so that we can draw more business to our members and our state.

MEMBERSHIP CHAIR - Sandy B: has served on the TAF/TP in several positions for a total of 9 terms. She has been the Activities Chair as well as Membership Chair. Her tenacity was crucial in organizing and pulling off the 2012 Holiday Party which funded the start up for the current new site. She is to date, the top seller of membership enhancements! Sandy gets it done and she does not falter or take “NO” for an answer. Her herculean efforts in these difficult times have helped to keep TAF/TP afloat and working for you.

WEB CHAIR - Bill ElliottBill served two terms on the TAF/TP board as President, Vice President of Dallas, and as the Web Chair. His tech savvy knowledge has been key in building the new site that is currently on the world wide web. Bill’s next idea is to get the site into a mobile app for I-phone and Droid users. His common sense and problem solving capabilities have helped keep TAF/TP up and running during troubled times.
