GUESS WHAT JUST CAME TO TEXAS? By Rod Tinney
The Cineflex Elite gyro stabilized camera system is now available in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Rod Tinney, the owner of Air Center Helicopters in Fort Worth and highly skilled SAG film pilot will give it a home to live in and provide the helicopter support to fly it. Gary Tolbert, a seasoned aerial cinematographer with thousands of flight hours in a multitude of aircraft will be the Aerial DP/Operator. Patrick Longman, the owner of the Elite, is the owner of Active Camera Systems and an aerial cinematographer from Florida. Patrick is positioning the Cineflex Elite in Fort Worth to provide stabilized camera systems support to this 6 state region. The new lightweight Cineflex Elite is integrated with the ARRI ALEXA Super 35 camera and Canon 4k Digital Cinema Zoom lenses into the 5 axis gyro-stabilized Cineflex for rock solid imagery in all weather conditions. Combining the powerful and smooth flying qualities of the Bell 407 (forward, backward, sideways, it doesn't matter), and the incredibly stable image of the Cineflex Elite provides for unique aerials that will more than make you smile when you watch playback.
