THE IMPORTANCE OF MEMBERSHIP

1. How do you get found for work? One job and you are in the profit zone.
2. If you are in the union, how do you get found for non-union jobs? How do you get hired when the long term job is over and you have been out of the market for 7 months?
3. TAMMP is a tax deduction.
4. Your membership supports our film incentives. The TAMMP on line directory is a tool for showing the depth and strength of the film industry in Texas. Our 40 year history proves to legislators that there is a viable film industry in the state that has great economic impact.
5. TAMMP is now doing workshops and training sessions to further educate and improve our incoming crew.
6. TAMMP promotes venues and companies who support the film industry, as well as, crew.

The 2015 Legislative session is less than 6 months away.
The film industry has lost some of our champions. This could have a huge impact on the  the current film incentives program. Our bill’s Senate Sponsor, Bob Deuell is gone. The new governor has no knowledge for our film incentive program and his new lieutenant governor is a declared opponent of government incentives.  At this time it is crucial to band together, stay tuned and stay in touch.

Please JOIN TAMMP Please renew your annual membership if you are already a member.
