If you check the website and you are NO LONGER THERE, it is because your account has been disabled due to lack of payment. If you have had issues renewing your membership on line, please send an email to the office: info@tammp.com If you just send a check to the office, all will be solved in a spit second! Once your payment is received, your account will be re-activated and all your information will magically reappear! The WIZARD is at work!

DFW FILM COMMISSION LOSES TWO STAFF MEMBERS

DFW FILM COMMISSION LOSES TWO STAFF MEMBERS.

Jan Thomas, the location coordinator for the DFW Film Commission retired on Oct. 24, 2014 after 7 ½ years. Jan did a fantastic job and will be sorely missed. On behalf of the TAMMP board and all it’s members, we wish her well in her new endeavors and thank her for her years of service. She did a fantastic job and was always a pleasure to work with.

Jan will be one of our panel members on Good Business Practices in the up coming seminar on November 15, 2014 at Light Tech Inc. She was the founding President of the Dallas Association of Make Up Artists and Stylists ( DAMAS) and worked for over 20 years as a freelance production coordinator and stylist in the still photography business. Her business practices became the standard back in the 80’s. Come and learn a lot from a real pro!

Lisha Brock, Administrative and Marketing Coordinator left the DFW Film Commission on Oct. 8, 2014 to return to the freelance world to continue her passion for film production. TAMMP salutes Lisha for her time at the DFW Film Commission, and thanks her for her meticulous service to our industry.

YOU HAVE BEEN DE-ACTIVATED!

If you are no longer appearing on the TAMMP website, it is because your membership has been deactivated for non -payment of dues.

At the risk of sounding like your Mother, Lynne Moon runs the office on a completely volunteer basis. You all have been notified by email and phone messages. Many have remained on the site well passed your expiration date. Shame on me for trying to make a living and keep the office and website running so that you can be found to be hired.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Get your butts in gear and pay your dues. Nothing will be back dated. If you pay today, that begins your 1 year term on the site. Your information will be re-activated and you won’t have to go through the pain of typing everything in again.

Since there are no UNION network shows in town and no mention of any big movies coming in to shoot, you may not be working. If you are in the UNION, you are on a roster and have the advantage of being called. If you are a business, vendor or non- union crew member, how do you advertise yourself for hire? How do you get found to work commercials and corporate gigs? GET LISTED in the on line TAMMP directory.

The TAMMP website is now mobile app friendly. Since the rule of advertising is 3, it would be a great idea to get listed anywhere you can. The more your name is seen, the more credence you have and the bigger advantage you have of being hired. $75.00 is a small price to pay for work that could land you a long -term client.

DO SOMETHING TO PROMOTE YOURSELF TODAY!

Kery Rike presented a TAMMP award for his life time achievements.
